A) Conference Themes
The Conference will be organised under the theme of Revisiting Collaborations and Human Connections in Education and Research and with the following 3 sub-themes:
- Collaboration and competition in education and research
- Inclusion, exclusion and indifference in human connections
- Policies, practice and human virtues

B) Submission deadline, links and presentation information
In order to enhance the quality of papers, a more rigorous review of paper proposals will be conducted. Applicants should identify the theme they are addressing and submit an abstract of 100-120 words. Submissions can either be for an individual presentation (with one or more authors) or as part of a panel presentation. The Deadline for submissions is: 20 January 2022 (Thursday).

Presentations can be in English, Cantonese or Mandarin/Putonghua. English and Chinese sessions will run separately. *If you are wishing to present in Cantonese or Mandarin/Putonghua, you must submit your abstract in written Chinese (traditional or simplified characters).
Additional Information on the Format of the Virtual Conference
This Conference runs as a virtual Conference, and all of those whose papers are accepted will be provided with an access key to the virtual Conference platform so that they can present their papers in real time. Optionally, they can pre-record and submit (narrated slides or video recording). In such cases, presenters will be asked to mark their preference in terms of whether the presentation will be available only during your designated session or during the entire Conference period. The accepted papers will be uploaded to the virtual Conference space, and instructions will be given, when you have registered.
Forum Registration and CESHK Membership
Membership and Conference fee payments are required in advance from all presenters. If you are a non-member or your membership has expired, please join CESHK or renew your membership. Considering the circumstances under the pandemic, and with the Conference happening online, we have arranged a discount for the Conference registration fee:

- Discount Membership (Part-time employment/between jobs/students) + Conference fee: HKD300
